Tuesday, September 10, 6 - 8 pm: Auditions for Circophony -- open to all aspiring circus performers ages twelve to eighteen. Now in its second season, Circophony is a collaboration between ARTFARM and Oddfellows Playhouse. Directed by Dic Wheeler, this program offers rigorous circus training two evenings per week and culminates in public performances in mid-January followed by a statewide tour. For details, or to register, visit www.mxcc.commnet.edu . ![]() September/October: Arse Kicking Puppetry, Ding Dongs and the Radical Farming of Art, an ARTFARM Ensemble collaboration with Vermont's iconic Bread and Puppet Theater, supported by a Grant from the Network of Ensemble Theaters. We will be traveling to Bread & Puppet in September, and they will be coming to us in October. Community workshop in Middletown on October 27 -- details TBA! Touring Shows: ARTFARM's Educational Circus about water-related environmental issues, will be available for touring throughout the school year. Shakespeare's Argument is also available for touring performances. starting in early October, will include Shakespeare Scene Study, Fall Canning, Winter Wellness, and possibly Physical Comedy/Commedia dell'Arte. Details announced in September. ![]() ARTFARM will have resident teaching artists at Keigwin School in Middletown, Kinsella Arts Magnet School and Watkinson School in Hartford, Kingswood-Oxford School in West Hartford, and is featured on the rosters for Hartford Performs as well as the CT Office of the Arts Teaching and Performing Artists (which provide subsidies to presenters).
