Musical Headliner: Lorena Garay
ARTFARM presents Much Ado About Nothing July 18 – 28 in the Grove at Middlesex Community College in Middletown. Performances are Thursdays through Sundays at 7 pm, with live music preceding each performance starting at 6 pm. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic and enjoy professional music and theater in the beautiful Cedar Grove overlooking the Connecticut River Valley. Every evening features a different Connecticut musician or musical group, highlighting the best of the State's folk, jazz and world music. The ARTFARM Shakespeare Ensemble has built a following since 2006 with its strong physical style, dexterity with text and language, and clear dynamic storytelling. ARTFARM makes Shakespeare come alive for all audiences, from pre-teens to sophisticated scholars. Marcella Trowbridge and Brian Jennings team up as Beatrice and Benedick. Much Ado is directed by ARTFARM Executive Director Dic Wheeler and will be accompanied live by the ARTFARM Irregular Orchestra.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
Middlesex Community College is located at 100 Training Hill Road, Middletown, CT.
